This bachelor thesis focuses on Ken Loach's view on the state of education and society in 1960s England and its effect on coming of age depicted in his film Kes. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na pohled Kena Loache na stav školství a společnosti v šedesátých letech v Anglii a jejich vliv na dospívání v jeho filmu Kes. Teoretická část definuje sociální realismus v britské kinematografii a poskytuje více informací o Kenu Loachovi.
