Oats in the view of nutritional therapy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem obiloviny ovsa (Avena), zejména jeho významu z pohledu výživy člověka. Oves je v současné době i přes své unikátní složení a pozitivní vliv na zdraví stále nedoceněnou a současně u některých skupin populace i hojně diskutovanou potravinou. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost především nutriční hodnotě ovsa a jeho mnoha prospěšným účinkům na zdraví člověka. Část práce se věnuje i možnostem využití ovsa jak v potravinářském, tak zemědělském průmyslu. V praktické části jsem se zaměřila na sledování různých skupin respondentů a jejich vztah ke konzumaci výrobků z ovsa, jejich znalostech a povědomí o látkách obsažených v ovsu a jejich vlivu na zdraví.

Abstract:

This bachelor's degree work focuses on the description of the oat (Avena) and its significance for human nutrition. Despite its unique composition and the positive impact on human health, Avena has recently been undervalued and within certain groups of population it remains a highly discussed topic. In the theoretical part of this work the attention is drawn towards the nutritive value of oats and its numerous profits for human health. The possibilities of using oats in food processing industry as well as agricultural industry are discussed in this part of work, too. In the practical part of this work I put stress on monitoring various groups of respondents and their relation to the oatmeal products consumption, as well as monitoring their knowledge about the nutritive elements of the oats and its benefits for human health.
