The Specifics of the Formal and Content Analysis of the Tree-drawing Test drawn by Chronic Alcoholics compared with Normal Population

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je porovnat kresbu stromu mezi chronickými alkoholiky a mezi normální populací. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část zahrnuje informace týkající se problematiky závislosti na alkoholu. Část věnující se alkoholismu obsahuje především charakteristiky závislosti, rozdíly v pití alkoholu u mužů a žen, vliv alkoholu na organismus člověka. V dalších kapitolách jsou popsány projektivní metody a samozřejmě metoda kresby stromu, jejich historie, klady a zápory. Empirická část se zabývala Specifiky formální a obsahové analýzy testu kresby stromu u chronických alkoholiků a u normální populace. Výzkumu se účastnilo 32 osob, 16 se závislostí na alkoholu a 16 osob bez závislosti. Výzkum osob se závislostí na alkoholu probíhal v psychiatrické léčebně v Kroměříži. Se všemi probandy byl uskutečněn rozhovor o jejich životě, administrován test kresby stromu. Osoby ve výzkumu byly vyrovnány podle pohlaví, věku, stupni vzdělání a IQ. Na konci empirické části jsou popsány výsledky i s jejich interpretací.

Abstract:

The main aim of the thesis is to compare the tree-drawing test drawn by chronic alcoholics and the tree-drawing test drawn by normal population. The work is divided into two parts – theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part includes information on the issue of alcohol dependence. Part addressed to alcoholism contains mainly characteristics of addiction, differences in drinking among men and women, the impact of alcohol on the human body. The following chapters describe projective methods, and of course the tree-drawing test, its history, pros and cons. The empirical part dealt with the specifics of formal and content analysis of tree-drawing test drawn by chronic alcoholics and by normal populations. The research included 32 people, 16 with addiction to alcohol and 16 people without addiction. Research on people with alcohol addiction was realized in a mental hospital in Kroměříž. All probands were interviewed about their lives and were administered the tree drawing test. People in research were offset by sex, age, educational level and IQ. At the end of the empirical part there are the results of all tree-drawing tests with their interpretations.
