Typical investigative situations and peculiarities of initial operations in investigations of wildfire

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na popis postupu při vyšetřování požáru a objasňování příčiny jeho vzniku. Počáteční část vysvětluje základní pojmy, úlohu vyšetřovatele, popisuje vznik požáru a nastiňuje jeho možné příčiny. Dále seznamuje čtenáře s typickými vyšetřovacími situacemi a popisuje počáteční úkony při vyšetřování. V neposlední řadě je uvedeno vybavení vyšetřovatele a jeho vozu, které potřebuje k odebírání vzorků a stop. Poté jsou vytyčovány verze a následuje plánování vyšetřování. Závěrem práce je podrobněji rozebrána dokumentace, která nutně doprovází celý proces vyšetřování.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the description of the wildfire investigation procedure and clarify the causes of wildfire origin. The introductory part explains the basic terminology related to wildfires, the role of investigator, describes the origin of a wildfire and outlines possible causes. The main part introduces the reader to the typical investigation situations and describes initial actions in investigation of wildfires. Last but not least, the equipment of an investigator and his vehicle, which he needs to colect samples and evidence, is mentioned. Then the versions are created, followed by planning of investigation. In final part of thesis, the documentation, which necessarily accompanies the whole investigation proces, is analysed in more details.
