Border between Bavaria and Bohemia

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis considers with phenomenon of border, especially with his conception and importance for the czech and german (bavarian) culture. The next chapter is about important border research at the University of Pardubice, that is done there despite inland location of the city. In the following section you can find a listing of present authors, who are writing about czech-bavarian neighbourhood. The significant part of this thesis forms an analyse of many different flyers and brochures, that present and publicize the border region and that are available on both sides of border.

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá fenoménem hranice, zejména jeho pojetím a významem v české i německé (především bavorské) kultuře. V další kapitole zmiňuje přínos Univerzity Pardubice pro přeshraniční výzkum, který zde již několik let probíhá, navzdory vnitrozemské poloze města. Následuje výčet současných autorů, zabývajících se tématem česko-bavorského sousedství. Důležitou část práce tvoří představení a zhodnocení rozličných letáků a prospektů, představujících a propagujících pohraničí, které jsou v současnosti k dispozici na obou stranách hranice.
