Gender differences in human resource management

Abstract:

Nováková M., Genderové rozdíly v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů. Diplomová práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2023. V diplomové práci je rozebrána problematika genderových rozdílů v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů, a to nejen z pohledu zaměstnanců, ale také managementu. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány čtyři hlavní výzkumné okruhy: řízení lidských zdrojů, motivace v pracovním prostředí, vzdělávání zaměstnanců a kariérní růst. V praktické části je prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření a hloubkových rozhovorů zjišťována motivace a potřeby zaměstnanců na pracovišti. V dotazníkovém šetření byl kladen důraz na vnímání postojů a názorů z hlediska čerpání firemních benefitů, vnímání pracovní spokojenosti, kariérního růstu a vzdělávání z pohledu genderu. Dále byly prováděny hloubkové rozhovory pro zjištění rozdílů vnímaní jednotlivých otázek výzkumu z pohledu managementu. Dále byla vydána určitá doporučení pro efektivnější řízení lidských zdrojů.

Nováková M., Gender differences in human resource management. Master thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The thesis analyses the issue of gender differences in the field of human resource management, not only from the perspective of employees, but also from the perspective of management. In the theoretical part, four main research areas are discussed: human resource management, motivation in the work environment, employee training and career development. In the practical part, the motivation and needs of employees in the workplace are investigated through a questionnaire survey and in depth interviews. In the questionnaire survey, the focus was on perceptions of attitudes and opinions in terms of availing company benefits, perceptions of job satisfaction, career growth and training from a gender perspective. In addition, in depth interviews were conducted to determine the differences in perceptions of each research question from the management perspective. Further, certain recommendations were made for more effective human resource management.
