The impact of digitalization on the process of accounting documents processing

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku digitalizace a jejím vlivu na proces zpracování účetních dokladů. Nedávná pandemická situace měla na zavádění nových technologií do výroby, jakož i do administrativy velký vliv a podstatně tento proces urychlila. Téma digitalizace a zpracování účetních dokladů je i po skončení pandemie velice diskutovaným tématem. Přesto ale chybí vhodná metodika, která by upravovala digitalizovaný oběh účetních dokladů a představovala by jakýsi manuál, který by předal potřebné know-how rozhodné pro úspěšné vedení bezpapírového účetnictví a který by poukázal na potenciál automatizace. Kromě moderních nástrojů je však nutná součinnost účetních, na které jsou v současné době kladeny vysoké požadavky jak z hlediska kontinuálního odborného vzdělávání, tak z hlediska uživatelských dovedností tyto technologie obsluhovat.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the issue of digitalization and its impact on the process of processing accounting documents. The recent pandemic situation had a great impact on the introduction of new technologies in production as well as in administration and significantly accelerated the process. The topic of digitisation and the processing of accounting documents is still a highly debated topic after the pandemic. Nevertheless, there is a lack of a suitable methodology that would regulate the digitised circulation of accounting documents and would constitute a kind of manual that would convey the necessary know-how crucial for successful paperless bookkeeping and that would highlight the potential of automation. However, in addition to modern tools, the cooperation of accountants is necessary, who are currently subject to high demands both in terms of continuous training and in terms of user skills to operate these technologies.
