V teoretické části práce popisuji institut minimální mzdy, argumenty pro a proti jejímu zavedení, ekonomické teorie a v rámci širšího ekonomicko-společenského rámce taktéž zmiňuji souvislosti se sociálními dávkami, inflací a nezaměstnaností.
