The goal of the bachelor thesis is to estimate demand for passenger transport on the considered new line between Bratislava and Nitra. The reason for choosing this topic is the non-existence of a direct railway connection between Nitra and Bratislava. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je odhad dopytu po osobnej preprave na uvažovanej novej trati medzi Bratislavou a Nitrou. Dôvodom zvolenia tejto témy je neexistencia priameho železničného spojenia medzi Nitrou a Bratislavou, pričom Nitra, ako jediné krajské mesto na Slovensku, týmto spojením nedisponuje.
