Creation of multimedia CD-ROM Italian opera in the romantic and verism period

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část je věnována obdobím nazývaným romantismus a verismus se zaměřením na jejich působení v Itálii během 19. a počátku 20. století. Tato část práce obsahuje stručný vstup do uvedené problematiky a dále se zaměřuje na nejvýznamnější operní skladatele této doby. Zachycuje životopisy autorů a nastiňuje nám jejich operní tvorbu. Obsahuje informace o vzniku, obsahu a dalších zajímavostech týkajících se jejich nejznámějších oper. Praktická část je přizpůsobena potřebám výuky hudební výchovy na gymnáziích nebo středních školách s výukou hudební výchovy. Součástí CD-ROMu jsou obrazové i zvukové ukázky a s e-learningem lze pracovat i při samostudiu. Úkolem práce je ucelovat informace týkající se výše uvedené problematiky a přizpůsobit je potřebám pedagogů a studentů středních škol. Neklade si za cíl tyto názory dále posuzovat a analyzovat. To bylo již učiněno samotným kritickým výběrem studijního materiálu a použité literatury, kterou uvádím na konci práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part depicts the periods of romantism and verism with a focus on their influence on Italy in the first half of the nineteenth century. This part of the thesis includes a brief entry into the listed themes and further focuses on the most significant opera composers of that age. It describes the curriculums of the authors and delineates us their opera work. It includes the information about creation, content and other points of interest concerning their most known operas. The practical part is adaptet to the needs of education on grammar or high schools with an education of music. Constituent parts of the CD-ROM are also image and audio samples and via e-learnign it is possible to self-study. The task of thesis is to summarize the information concering the problemacy listed above and to adapt it to the needs of the pedagogues and students of high schools. It does not put a goal to evaluate and analyze these opinions. That has been already done by the very critical choice of the study materials and used literature, which is listed at the end of the piece.
