Utilization of waste from mining of building and decorative stones from selected quarries in the Olomouc region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o situaci ve vybraných lomech Olomouckého kraje (Vitošov - vápenec, Krásné - rula, Měrotín -vápenec, Libina - rula, Hrubá voda - břidlice). U jednotlivých lokalit je popsána obecná charakteristika lomu, základní geologická a geomorfologická charakteristika, zpracování těžené suroviny a produkty, stav zásob těžené suroviny, možná produkce odpadů. Tam kde vzniká nebo je nějaký odpad byl odebrán vzorek. Z výše uvedených lokalit jde o Vitošov, kde byl odebrán vápenný kal, představující dočasný technologický odpad, který vzniká při promývání vápenců. Další lokalitou je Hrubá Voda, kde byl odebrán vzorek břidlicového odpadu. Byla provedena charakteristika odpadů. Na základě jejich složení byly navrženy možnosti jejich využití

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the situation in the selected quarries of Olomouc Region (Vitošov ? limestone, Krásné ? gneiss, Měrotín ? limestone, Libina ? gneiss, Hrubá Voda ? slate). I described the general characteristic of particular quarries, their basic geological and geomorphological characteristic, the processing of raw material and its products, a store of raw material and possible production of waste. I took samples of waste in the places where they are produced or already exist from past exploitation. From the localities listed above it is Vitošov where limestone sludge was taken; this sludge represents temporary technological waste, which arises from limestone washing. Another locality is Hrubá Voda, where a sample of slate waste was taken from waste heaps. In my bachelor thesis I characterized the physical, mineral and chemical composition of these wastes. On the basis of the waste composition I suggested some options of their further usage
