Employment and unemployment in Ústí region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanosti v Ústeckém regionu v letech 2014 až 2019. Cílem práce je analyzovat vývoj zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanosti v kraji, který patří k těm nejproblémovějším v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vysvětlení pojmů trhu práce, politiky zaměstnanosti, nezaměstnanosti – rozdělení, měření, příčiny a důsledky, dále se zaměřuje na rizikové skupiny, které jsou nezaměstnaností nejvíce zasaženy. Ve druhé části je pozornost věnována už samotným analyzovaným oblastem. Nejdříve specifickými charakteristikami Ústeckého kraje a okresu Teplice a následně konkrétní analýzou sekundárních statistických dat a to především z Českého statistického úřadu, úřadu práce a MPSV. Nejdříve je analyzována celá zkoumaná oblast Ústeckého kraje v porovnání s ČR a ostatními kraji, počet uchazečů o zaměstnání v evidenci ÚP, dále jsou analyzované konkrétní skupiny podle pohlaví, věku, vzdělání, délky evidence a počtu nezaměstnaných osob ZP. A stejně tak je prováděna analýza i v okresu Teplice, který je okresem Ústeckého kraje. Proběhlo i krátké zhodnocení trhu práce v obci Teplice pracovnicí ÚP Teplice. Na závěr byla provedena analýza aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti v Ústeckém regionu jako nástroje na pomoc v nezaměstnanosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of employment and unemployment in the Ústí Region in the years 2014 to 2019. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of employment and unemployment in the region, which is considered as one of the most problematic in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on explaining the concepts of labor market, employment policy, unemployment - distribution, measurement, causes and consequences, and focuses on risk groups that are most affected by unemployment. In the second practical part, the attention is paid to the analyzed areas. First with the specific characteristics of the Ústí Region and the Teplice District and then with a specific analysis of secondary statistical data, mainly from the Czech Statistical Office, the Employment Department and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The entire researched area of the Ústí Region is analyzed in comparison with the Czech Republic and other regions, the number of job applicants in the employment register, then specific groups are analyzed according to gender, age, education, registration length and the number of unemployed people with disabilities. The analysis is also performed in the district of Teplice, which is a district of the Ústí Region. There was also a short evaluation of the labor market in the village of Teplice by an employee of the Employment Department Teplice. Finally, the analysis of active employment policy in the Ústí Region was performed as a tool to help with unemployment.
