Analysis of Using Empolyee Benefits in a Chosen Company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice zaměstnaneckých benefitů. První, teoretická část práce vychází z rešerše odborné literatury. Shrnuje základní teoretické poznatky, přičemž se zaměřuje na charakteristiku benefitů, vliv benefitů při získávání a stabilizaci zaměstnanců. Popisuje koncept tzv. celkové odměny v souvislosti s benefity a současné trendy. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu současného systému zaměstnaneckých výhod ve společnosti GlaxoSmithKline. K jejímu provedení bylo použito několik výzkumných metod, zejména deskripce, analýza interních materiálů, dotazníkové šetření mezi zaměstnanci a rozhovory se zástupci vrcholného managementu. Na základě uskutečněné analýzy jsou identifiovány silné a slabé stránky zkoumaného systému zaměstnaneckých benefitů ve společnosti GSK. V závěru práce jsou formulována doporučení ke zvýšení účinnosti současného systému zaměstnaneckých výhod.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of employee benefits. First theoretical part of the work is based on a search of professional literature. It summarizes the basic theoretical knowledge and focuses more on the characteristics of benefits, the impact of benefits in recruiting and stabilizing employees. Describes the concept of the so-called total reward in connection with benefits and current trends. The practical part contains an analysis of the current system of employee benefits in the company GlaxoSmithKline. Several research methods were used for its implementation, in particular a description, analysis of internal materials, a survey among employees and interviews with representatives of top management. Based on the performed analysis are identified strengths and weaknesses of employee benefits system at GSK. Outcome of the thesis is giving recommendations to increase the effectiveness of the current system of employee benefits.
