Časově – frekvenční transformace jsou metody převádějící signál z oblasti časové do časově-frekvenční, čímž nám dovolující sledovat proměnlivost frekvenčního obsahu signálu v čase. Pomocí těchto metod lze studovat činnost autonomní nervové soustavy na základě transformace variability srdečního rytmu. Time-frequency transformations are methods redrafting a signal from time area into time-frequency area, which allows us to watch a variance of frequencies in time. With these methods we can study aktivity of autonomic nervous system on a base of transformation of heart beat variability.
