The image of World War II in the German-language literature on the example of the novel byBarbara Gehrt Nie wieder ein Wort davon

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the reflection of the World War II in the book "Nie wieder ein Wort davon?" by the German writer Barbara Gehrts. The thesis consists of two parts - theretical and analytical. The theoretical part is focused on the characterization of the social situation in the period of the Third Reich and Wolrd War II, the persecution of the Jews, the Holocaust denial and, of course, the literatur and the writers of that time. The analytical part tries to find out how much autobiographical the book is. It also deals with children´s perception of death and the author´s syntactic context of the text. The overall perception of the World War II and the Third Reich on the Barbara Gehrts´ book example is included in the conclusion of this thesis.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o obrazu druhé světové války v knize "Nie wieder ein Wort davon?" německé spisovatelky Barbary Gehrts. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to z teoretické a analytické. Teoretická číst práce se věnuje popisu společenské situace v období Třetí říše a druhé světové války, pronásledování Židů a popírání holokaustu, stejně jako literatuře tematizující uvedenou problematiku. Analytická část se zabývá a zkoumá autobiografické rysy díla. Zahrnuje rovněž vnímání smrti očima dětí. Bez pozornosti nezůstává také autorčino syntaktické pojedí textu. Celkové vnímání a chápání období druhé světové války a Třetí říše na příkladu knihy Barbary Gehrts je zahrnuto v závěru této bakalářské práce.
