Alcohol consumption at bachelor students non-medical health studies

Abstract:

CÍL: Práce je věnována problematice alkoholu a jeho konzumaci studenty bakalářských zdravotnických nelékařských oborů. Práce stručně popisuje dějiny alkoholu, jeho charakteristiku a výrobu a dále působení na lidský organismus se všemi jeho účinky. Zabývá se abúzem a závislostí člověka na alkoholu a v neposlední řadě dopadem nadměrného pití na člověka. METODIKA: Výzkum byl proveden kvantitativní metodou výzkumného šetření a to konkrétně formou anonymního dotazníku. Výzkumným vzorkem byli studenti 1. ročníku bakalářských zdravotnických nelékařských oborů. VÝZKUM: Po vyplnění dotazníků respondenty byla provedena analýza dat. Prezentace výsledků výzkumného šetření je znázorněna pomocí tabulek a grafů. Výsledky jsou dále shrnuty a porovnány v diskuzi. ZÁVĚR: Výzkumným šetřením u mnou vybraného výzkumného vzorku byly zjištěny nedostatky ve znalostech alkoholové problematiky. Respondenti neznají pojem abúzus alkoholu a o účincích alkoholu na organismus vědí také jen velmi málo.

Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: My work is devoted to a problem of alcohol, its consumption among bachelor students of non-medical health studies. The work briefly describes the history of alcohol, its characteristics and production as well as its influence on human organism with all its effects. It deals with the problem of the abuse and alcohol addiction and last but not least with the impact of excessive drinking on a human being. METODOLOGY: The whole research was done by the quantity method of explorative investigation specifically by the anonymous questionnaire. The investigated sample was chosen from freshener students of non-medical health studies. RESEARCH: When all the respondents filled in their questionnaires the data analysis was done. The presentation of all the results is given with the help of charts and graphs. The results are also summarized and compared in a discussion. CONCLUSION: A lack of knowledge about alcohol problems was found by the investigation. The respondents don´t know the term alcohol abuse and they also know very little about alcohol effects to human organism.
