The social and kinship networks among the Bulgarians in Czech Republic.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tím, jak jsou pojímány příbuzenské a sociální vztahy u Bulharů, kteří žijí v České republice. Účelem práce je nastínit problematiku proměn příbuzenských a sociálních sítí (a vztahů v nich vzniklých), protože právě příbuzenské a sociální vztahy jsou migrací velmi ovlivněny. Záměrem práce není přesné zmapování sociálních a příbuzenských sítí Bulharů v České republice. Důraz je spíše kladen na subjektivně vnímanou situaci migrace z rodné země a vnímané případné rozdílnosti mezi Bulharskem a Českou republikou týkající se příbuzenských a sociálních sítí (vztahů) samotnými migranty.Vzhledem k tématu migrace z Bulharska do Čech, ale také naopak se práce věnuje také dlouholetým vztahům mezi oběma zeměmi.Zároveň se práce věnuje problematice integrace a identity, což jsou pojmy, které s migrací a následným žitím v nové zemi souvisí. Tato práce vychází z poznatků zjištěných v polostrukturovaných a nestrukturovaných rozhovorech, zúčastněném pozorování, terénním výzkumu a základy práce také stojí na odborné literatuře.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on kinship and social relations of Bulgarians who live in Czech republic. The purpose of this thesis is to outline the problems of transformation of kinship and social networks (and also relations), because kinship and social relations are very affected by migration. The purpose of this thesis is not precise mapping of kinship and social networks of immigrants from Bulgaria. The emphasis is on the subjective perception of migration from a native country and perceived differences between Bulgaria and Czech Republic concerning kinship and social networks (relations) by the migrants themselves. In regards to the topic of migration between Bulgaria and Czech Republic this thesis also focuses on the longterm relations between both of these countries. The question of identity and integration is another aim of this work, because these terms are linked with migration and subsequent living in a new country. This thesis is based on the semistructured and unstructured interviews, participated observation, field research and on the technical literature.
