The Single Market of the EU with Emphasis on the Free Movement of services

Abstract:

Anotace Tato práce mapuje vývoj vnitřního trhu a představuje čtyři základní svobody, na kterých stojí fungování uvnitř Evropské unie. Těmito svobodami jsou: volný pohyb zboží, volný pohyb osob, volný pohyb kapitálu a volný pohyb služeb. Nevětší část práce je věnována právě volnému pohybu služeb, a to z pohledu implementace evropské směrnice o službách do českého právního systému. Součástí této implementace je zřízení tzv. Jednotných kontaktní míst, které mají sloužit k poskytování informací a další pomoci v rozšíření svobody volného pohybu služeb mimo území jednotlivých států. Proto jsem se v této práci zaměřil na jejich fungování v praxi na konkrétním případu.

Abstract:

Annotation This thesis describes the development of the internal market and presents four basic freedoms on which the European Union stands. These are: free movement of goods, free movement of persons, free movement of capital and free movement of services. The most significant part of my thesis is devoted to the free movement of services from the perspective of implementation of EU directive on services into the Czech legal system. The implementation includes also establishment of so-called Points of Single Contact which are created to provide information and other assistance in extending the freedom to provide services outside the member states. Therefore I have focused also on the practical aspect of the functioning of the Points of Single Contact.
