Prostitúcia v Thajsku

Abstract:

Diplomová práca je zameraná na prostitúciu v Thajsku, jej históriu, pôvod a vysvetľuje sexuálny priemysel ako celok a jeho vplyv na deti a ženy v Thajsku. Teoretická časť poskytuje základný prehľad, vysvetlenia a informácie súvisiace s problémami ako sú korene a príčiny prostitúcie, detská prostitúcia, legislatíva, sexuálna turistika, pohlavná variabilita, obchodovanie s ľuďmi. V analytickej časti môžeme nájsť výskumnú analýzu založenú na rozhovoroch s prostitútkami v Pattaji v Thajsku a zahraničnými krajanmi žijúcimi v Thajsku. Následne sú overené hypotézy, ktoré sú základom tejto práce. Hypotézy boli zamerané na korene a príčiny prostitúcie, rastúci dopyt po prostitúcii a rast migrácie sexuálnych pracovníkov a nedostatočné presadzovanie zákazu prostitúcie. Napokon sa vyhodnocuje výskum a navrhujú sa odporúčania.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on prostitution in Thailand, its history, origin and explains sex industry as a whole and its impact on children and women in Thailand. The theoretical part provides a basic overview, explanations and information related to the issues such as its roots and causes, child prostitution, legislation, sex tourism, gender variability, human and sex trafficking.In the analytical part we can find research analysis based on interviews with prostitutes in Pattaya, Thailand and foreigner expatriates living in Thailand Its followed by a verification of hypotheses used as base for this thesis. Hypotheses were focused on the roots and causes of prostitution, growing demand for prostitution and increasing migration of sex workers and lack of enforcement on prohibiting prostitution. Finally, the research is assessed and recommendations are proposed.
