Managerial decision-making in ethically constrained situations

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá nástroji pro podporu úvah a rozhodování manažera v eticky vyhraněných situacích. Zkoumá jak nástroje a podporu pro racionální rozhodování, tak i provádí ověření zapojení emocí do rozhodovacího procesu. Práce ověřuje neinvazivní nepřímé technické měřící metody pro sledování exprese emocí spojených s rozhodovacím procesem a validuje teoretické schéma emoční zpětné vazby představené Jennifer Lernerovou v práci Emotion and Decision Making(2015) a pokouší se najít vzorce pro další následný experimentální výzkum a nastiňuje budoucí uplatnění poznatků v oblasti lidských zdrojů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with tools to support the reasoning and decision making of the manager in ethically challenging situations. It explores both tools and support for rational decision-making and conducts a validation of the involvement of emotions in the decision-making process. The thesis validates non-invasive indirect technical measurement methods for monitoring the expression of emotions associated with the decision-making process and validates the theoretical schema of emotional feedback presented by Jennifer Lerner in Emotion and Decision Making(2015), and attempts to find patterns for further follow-up experimental re-search and outlines future applications of the findings in the field of human resources.
