The Bank Union – European Central Bank supervision

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the Bank Union and the supervision of the European Central Bank on the banking system. The work is divided into two parts, the first part is a theoretical definition of the banking system and other descriptive analysis of the global crisis and the three pillars of the Bank Union. The first chapter focuses on the definition of the banking sector. The second chapter analyzes the impact of the crisis on the banking sector. The third chapter of the pillars of the Union Bank – Banking Supervision, resolution mechanisms and shared liability for deposits.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá s Bankovou úniou a dohľadom Európskej centrálnej banky na bankový systém. Práca je rozdelená na dve časti, prvá časť je teoretické vymedzenie bankového systému a druhá opisná analýza globálnej krízy a troch pilierov Bankovej únie. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na vymedzenie bankového sektora. Druhá kapitola analyzuje vplyv krízy na bankový sektor. Tretia kapitola je o pilieroch Bankovej únie – bankový dohľad, rezolučný mechanizmus a spoločné európske ručenie za vklady.
