Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Jan Meisl, hudební skladatel a dirigent" se věnuje významné osobnosti české soudobé hudby, Janu Meislovi. První část práce popisuje život tohoto autora a nejdůležitější momenty jeho skladatelské dráhy, a to v chronologickém sledu, s ohledem na místa, kde působil. Druhá část práce je kompletním přehledem dosavadní tvorby Jana Meisla. Uvedené skladby obsahují údaje jako: opusové číslo, rok zkomponování, instrumentace, části skladby, celková doba trvání, interpretace, vydání, věnování apod. Třetí část práce se zaměřuje na vybranou autorovu skladbu, kterou rozebírá s ohledem na formu, výrazové prostředky či didaktické uplatnění. Poslední část práce je věnována Jihočeskému univerzitnímu orchestru Big Band Symphonic z Českých Budějovic, tělesu, které Jan Meisl diriguje. Nalezneme zde stručnou historii orchestru, jeho obsazení, repertoár a záznam z náslechu zkoušky. Mezi přílohy je zařazena tabulka skladatelových děl, partitura analyzované skladby a fotografie Jana Meisla.

Abstract:

Diploma work titled "Jan Meisl, music composer and conductor" is devoted to significant figure of Czech contemporary music, Jan Meisl. The first part of this work describes the life of this author and the most important moments of his composing career in chronological order, with regard to the places, where he worked. The second part of this work is the complete overview of existing work of Jan Meisl. Mentioned pieces contain information such as: opus number, year of writing, instrumentation, parts of the piece, total duration, interpretation, publication, dedication, etc. The third part of this work focuses on chosen author's piece, which is analysed with regard to the form, expression means or didactic application. The last part of this work is devoted to the South Bohemian Big Band Symphonic České Budějovice, the ensemble, which is conducted by Jan Meisl. A brief history of the orchestra can be found there, as well as its structure, repertoire and written record of conducted classroom observation of orchestra rehearsal. In the attachments can be found the table of composer's work, the score of analysed piece and photos of Jan Meisl.
