Autor: Milan Knotek Název práce: Kvantitativní a kvalitativní hodnocení obsahu humusových látek a uhlíku v nadložním humusu lesních půd na vybraných lokalitách Mont Beuvray (Francie). Cílem práce je zhodnotit obsah humusových látek a uhlíku v nadložním humusu lesních půd na vybraných lokalitách Mont Beuvray v souvislosti s dlouhodobě zdokumentovaným využíváním půdy člověkem v okolí archeologického naleziště Bibracte v rámci probíhajícího projektu Forestry Lab Bibracte. Na základě dostupných pramenů a vlastního terénního šetření byla zpracována rešeršní část na téma přírodních poměrů na dané lokalitě. Na výzkumných lokalitách byl proveden popis stanovišť a odběr vzorků organických horizontů pro vyhodnocení a interpretaci daných půdních vlastností. Největší zásoba humusu se nachází na stanovištích holin, a to z důvodu ponechání potěžebních zbytků na pasekách. Z porostů májí největší zásobu stanoviště se smíšenými lesy, další v pořadí jsou jedlová a douglasková stanoviště. Nejmenší zásobou disponují buková stanoviště. Poměr C/N je zvýšený na douglaskových stanovištích. Tento vysoký poměr způsobuje nízké zastoupení dusíku v celém profilu nadložního humusu.

Author: Milan Knotek Title of the thesis: Quantitative and qualitative assessment of humus and carbon content in overburden humus of forest soils at selected sites in Mont Beuvray (France). The objective of this thesis is to assess the humus and carbon content of the overburden humus of forest soils at selected sites of Mont Beuvray in the context of the long-term documented human land use around the archaeological site of Bibracte in the framework of the ongoing Forestry Lab Bibracte project. Based on available sources and own field investigation, a research of the natural conditions at the site was writen. The field descriptions of the habitats at the research sites were carried out and overburden humus was sampled and to evaluation and interpretation the soil properties. The largest overburden humus supply is found in the clearcuts, due to the abandonment of the mining residues. Within the stands, the mixed sites have the largest humus supply, with Fir and Douglas-fir habitats next in order. Beech habitats have the lowest humus stock. The C/N ratio is elevated on Douglas-fir sites. This high ratio is a results of a low nitrogen stock in overburden humus horizon profile.
