Traditional garments and folk costumes in the lives of Podluží region residents in the begining of 21st century, taken the municipality of Dolní Bojanovice as an examplar.

Abstract:

Hlavní myšlenkou diplomové práce je zachytit podlužácký lidový oděv a kroj tak, jak je oblékán na počátku 21. století. V práci najdeme podrobný popis oděvů původních nositelek, tedy nejstarší generaci žen, které běžně oblékají tradiční oděv. Popis jednotlivých kusů oděvu je doplněn fotografiemi. Podrobně jsou zachyceny varianty kroje svobodných dívek, zejména plný kroj a červenica. V závěru se text věnuje práci švadlen, které zhotovují oděvní součástky ke krojům a malérečce lidového ornamentu.

Abstract:

The main idea of the diploma thesis is to record the traditional garments and costumes which are still worn in the begining of 21st century at Podluží region at South Moravia. The thesis especially focuses on the oldest generation of women who usually wear the traditional garments instead of present ready-made clothing. The description of the garments is complemented with photographs. The traditional garments worn by young – unmarried girls are also described in detail, especially the solemn costume and so called “červenica” which is an ordinary variation of the costume. The final section of the diploma thesis is focused on the makers of traditional garments, costums and drawings. The text is supplemented with a great number of photographs.
