The Bank of Japan’s Monetary Policy from 1999 to 2006
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá japonskou měnovou politikou v době, kdy Japonská centrální banka prováděla politiku nulových úrokových měr a kvantitativní uvolňování. Poskytuje přehled měnověpolitických opatření Japonské centrální banky a odpovídá na otázku, jak to, že po nich nenásledovala inflace tak, jak očekává monetaristická teorie.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with Japanese monetary policy in the period when Bank of Japan conducted the zero interest rate policy and quantitative easing policy. It offers a summary of monetary policy measures adopted by Bank of Japan and answers the question why they were not followed by inflation as the monetarist theory expects.
