Diplomová práce se zabývá významem rodiny v péči o dítě s mentálním postižením. Tato práce obsahuje čtyři kapitoly. První tři kapitoly jsou teoretické a jsou zaměřeny na stanovení teoretických východisek, možnosti péče o dítě s mentálním postižením a rodinu tohoto dítěte. The master thesis dealt with the family importance in the care of children with the mental disability. This thesis is divided into four chapters.
