Linguistic Situation, Language Policy and Specificities of French Language in Swiss Bilingual Cantons
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis concerns the language situation in bilingual Swiss cantons. The main content of this thesis is a description of Swiss bilingual cantons and presentation of results of research carried out at bilingual grammar school in Biel. The aim of the thesis is to find out what is the position of French today in the official languages of Switzerland.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá jazykovou situací ve dvojjazyčných švýcarských kantonech. Hlavní náplní práce je popis švýcarských dvojjazyčných kantonů a prezentace výsledů výzkumu provedeného na dvojjazyčném gymnáziu v Biel. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké je dnes postavení francouzštiny v rámci švýcarských úředních jazyků.
