The Economic Performance of Engineering in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnocení ekonomické výkonnosti strojírenského průmyslu v ČR mezi lety 2011-2016. Tato práce analyzuje ekonomickou výkonnost jednotlivých krajů ČR dle odvětví strojírenského průmyslu a také dle velikostních kategorií počtu zaměstnanců. Hodnocení výkonnosti probíhá na základě dat podnikového účetnictví. Tyto indikátory jsou získány z dostupných informací podnikového účetnictví jednotlivých podniků. Jedná se o ukazatele počtu zaměstnanců, výkonů, účetní přidané hodnoty, mzdových nákladů, výsledků hospodaření či zadluženosti. Obecným zjištěním bylo, že strojírenský průmysl je v ČR rozmístěný víceméně rovnoměrně. Nejvýraznější zastoupení bylo prokázáno na území NUTS II Jihovýchod. Ukázalo se, že strojírenský průmysl patří v rámci zpracovatelského průmyslu ČR k poměrně výkonnému odvětví.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate an economic performance of engineering industry in the Czech Republic between 2011-2016. The thesis analyzes the economic performance of individual regions of the Czech Republic according to the branch of engineering industry and also by size categories of employees. The evaluation of performance is based on enterprise accounting data. These indicators are derived from the available enterprise accounting information of each enterprise. These are indicators of the number of employees, performance, accounting value added, labour costs, profit or loss. The general finding was that the engineering industry in the Czech Republic is located equally around the country. The most significant representation was found in NUTS II South east. It turned out that the engeneering industry belongs to the relatively powerful industry within the Czech manufacturing industry.
