Effectiveness of the Media Education Program on Orientation Days

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje Orientačním dnům, jejich prvkům, metodám a zasazuje je do historických souvislostí. Snaží se dostat hlouběji do jednoho z jejich témat a tím je právě téma Média. Popisuje její cíle, zabývá se jejich nebezpečím a hledá způsoby správné pre-vence. V praktické části zkoumá toto téma média v rámci Orientačních dnů a zabývá se tím, jaký efekt má na účastníky program kurzu. Vyhodnocuje získaná data z pohledu ko-gnitivních, afektivních a psychomotorických cílů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis aims to the 'Orientation days', their features, methodics and historical context. This paper takes a closer look at one of their topics - Media education. In theoreti-cal part there are described the risks of modern media to children and the ways of effective prevention. In practical part of this work, the effect of media education, as part of the 'Ori-entation days', on children is being examined. Acquired data are being evaluated from the perspective of cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning domains.
