The Process of the Catholic Reformation in Valašské Meziříčí in the Second Half of the 17th Century
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou pobělohorské rekatolizace v moravském městě Valašském Meziříčí především v druhé polovině 17. století. Ukazuje, kdo byli nositelé rekatolizace v tomto městě a jaké používali prostředky k jejímu rozšiřování. Zároveň se snaží zhodnotit, jak byly tyto prostředky a další metody úspěšné při obrácení obyvatel na katolickou víru.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with matters of the Catholic Reformation in the Moravia town Valašské Meziříčí during post 1620 era, especially in second half of the 17th century. It shows who were bearers of the Catholic Reformation in this city and what ways and means were used to propagate Catholic faith.
