Synthesis of novel B, N ligands and their utilization for coordination of heavier group 14 elements

Abstract:

Teoretická část této diplomové práce obsahuje přehled, do této doby syntetizovaných a charakterizovaných boraamidinátových a boraguanidinátových komplexů s s- a p-prvky periodického systému. Experimentální část této práce se zabývá syntézou nových prekurzorů boraamidinátových a boraguanidinátových ligandů. Připravené sloučeniny resp. jejich lithné deriváty byly následně použity k syntéze homoleptických a heteroleptických komplexů kovů 14. skupiny (germania, cínu a olova). Ze získaných komplexů byl poté ke studiu další reaktivity vybrán boraguanidinátový komplex germania a to především pro své elektronové vlastnosti. Tato sloučenina byla podrobena reakcím s difenyldichalkogenidy, substituovaným ethan-1,2-diiminem, substituovaným buta-1,3-dienem, t-butylisonitrilem, t-butylisokyanátem a 4-(dimethylamino)pyridinem. Celkem bylo připraveno 13 originálních sloučenin, které byly charakterizovány zejména pomocí multinukleární NMR spektroskopie a v drtivé většině případů pomocí rentgenostrukturní analýzy.

Abstract:

Theoretical part of this thesis contains an overview of, to this moment synthesized and characterized, boraamidinate and boraguanidinate complexes of s- and p-block elements of the periodical system. Experimental part of this thesis deals with the synthesis of new precursors of boraamidinate and boraguanidinate ligands. The prepared compounds respectively their lithium derivatives were used for the synthesis of homoleptic and heteroleptic metal complexes of group 14 (germanium, tin and lead). From the obtained complexes boraguanidinate complex of germanium was then selected for subsequent study of its reactivity, especially due to its electronic properties. This compound was subjected to the reactions with diphenyldichalcogenides, substituted ethane-1,2-diimine, substituted buta- 1,3-diene, t-butylisonitrile, t-butylisocyanate and 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine. 13 original compounds were prepared and characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and in most cases using X-ray analysis.
