Cílem této diplomové práce je zanalyzovat reálnost a přínos možného využití satelitní navigace v železniční dopravě. Teoretická část je zaměřena zjištění fungování satelitní navigace a popis významných systémů. Praktická část se zabývá využitím v železniční dopravě. The aim of this thesis is to determine the feasibility and benefits of potential use of satellite navigation in rail transport. The theoretical part focuses on the operation of satellite navigation and a description of important systems. The practical part deals with the use in rail transport.
