Rehabilitation for a sportive subject with Achille's tendon rupture: case report

Abstract:

In the past years, the number of athletes with the Achilles tendon injury has increased considerably and such injury represents the most common tendon lesion of the lower limb. the aim of the project is to provide a clinical picture of the pathology, describing causes, risk factors, types of surgery and rehabilitation. Taking the treated clinical case as a reference, we used evaluation scales, orthopedic tests, postural and functional tests for monitoring and data collection during the rehabilitative path, on the basis of which we set a team work aimed at an early return to sports activity.

Abstract:

Negli ultimi anni, l?incidenza soprattutto tra gli sportivi della lesione al tendine d?achille č aumentata notevolmente e rappresenta la piů frequente lesione tendinea dell?arto inferiore. l?obiettivo dell?elaborato č quello di fornire un quadro clinico della patologia, descrivendo cause, fattori di rischi, tipologia di intervento chirurgico e riabilitativo. Prendendo come riferimento il caso clinico trattato, abbiamo utilizzato scale di valutazione, test ortopedici, test posturali e funzionali per il monitoraggio e la raccolta dati durante il percorso riabilitativo sulla base dei quali abbiamo impostato un lavoro di equipe mirato ad un precoce rientro in campo.
