Main Aspects of the Reform of Public Finance in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem mé bakalářské práce „Základní aspekty reformy veřejných financí v ČR“ je analýza ekonomických dopadů přijaté reformy veřejných financí. V první části bakalářské práce se zaměřím na teoretické pojmy z oblasti veřejných financí a souvisejícím veřejným zadlužením. Hlavní důraz je zaměřem na státní rozpočet jako hlavní část veřejných rozpočtů. Dále je v práci uveden a zdůvodněn stav veřejných rozpočtů na začátku reformy v roce 2003. V druhé části práce jsou postupně popsány reformy vlád od roku 2004 s důrazem na dnešní reformní snahy. V poslední a nejdůležitější části porovnávám ozdravovující snahy jednotlivých vlád a především analyzuji dopady současné reformy, jejíž hlavní část začala působit prvním dnem letošního roku.

Abstract:

The subject-matter of my bachelor thesis “Main Aspects of the Reform of Public Finance in the Czech Republic“ is an analysis of economic impacts of the reform of public finance. The first part of this bachelor thesis is intended on the theory of public finance, public debt and the structure of the public finance. The main accent is intended on the state budget as the main part of public budgets. Then I describe condition of public budgets at the beginning of the reform in the year 2003. In the second part of this works I describe governmental reforms since 2004 with accent on the today’s reforms endeavors. In the last part I compare the reforms of the particular governments and I analyze effects of the today’s reform, whose main part has begun influence in the first January 2008.
