Czechoslovak-Austrian Relations in 1919 - 1932

Abstract:

Tématem práce jsou vzájemné vztahy mezi Československem a Rakouskem. Časové rozmezí práce začíná rokem 1919, kdy obě země získali samostatnost po konci 1.světové války a rozpadu Rakouska-Uherska a končí rokem 1932, kdy v Rakousko nastoupil na místo spolkového kancléře Engelbert Dollfuss. Politický a historický rámec práce zahrnuje oficiální diplomatické vztahy, obchodní a ekonomické vztahy a politické vztahy jak na bilaterální, tak na mezinárodní úrovni. Práce shrnuje také politický vývoj a změny vlád v obou zemích včetně jejich vztahu k Společnosti národů, velkým evropským zemím jako Francie, Velká Británie nebo Německo a k sousedním zemím v regionu střední Evropy.

Abstract:

The topic are mutual relations between Czechoslovakia and Austria. The time frame is from 1919 when both countries got independence after the end of I.world war and collapse of Austria-Hungary to 1932 when Engelbert Dollfuss became a chancellor in Austria. Political and historical framework of the work includes the official diplomatic relations, trade and economic relations and political relations on both bilateral and international level. It also summarize political development and changes of government in both countries including their relations to The League of Nations, big european countries such as France, Great Britain or Germany and neighboring countries in central Europe.
