Cíl studie: Přístroj Prometheus založený na modifikované metodě frakcionované plazmatické separace a adsorpce je používán pro přemostění k transplantaci u nemocných s akutním selháním jater. Protože terapeutický efekt není způsoben jen ovlivněním terminálních metabolitů, bylo cílem studie zjistit, jak metoda ovlivňuje hladiny cytokinů, markerů zánětu a regenerace. Objective: Prometheus based on modified fractionated plasma separation and adsorption method is used in the therapy of acute liver failure as a bridging to liver transplantation.
