Family Tvorkovský of Kravař, its genealogy and land possession until 1620

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zpracování genealogie a majetkové držby šlechtického rodu Tvorkovských z Kravař z rodů Benešoviců se zaměřením na počátky rodu a období 15. a 16. století. Hlavní pozornost je věnována jednotlivým osobám a jejich důkladné prosopografii, tedy zkoumání s ohledem na původ, kariéru či rodinné vztahy. Dále v kombinaci se zeměpisnými, časovými a sociopolitickými kritérií. Pozornost je věnována i rodovým sídlům a otázce rodového znaku. Počátky rodu sahají do období rodu Benešovců, Benešoviců, kdy nejstarší Benešův syn Vok (1215-1255) z Benešova měl pravděpodobně osm synů, jedním z nich byl Ondřej, zakladatel rodu z Tvorkova. Práce popisuje genealogii rodu s přehledem držby majetku vybraných členů a představuje zejména jejich sídla. U významných příslušníků rodu je uvedena jejich stručná prosopografie a u významných držav jejich stručná historie se zaměřením na dobu, kdy Tvorkovští tento majetek vlastnili.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to elaborate genealogy and possession of the noble family Tvorkovský of Kravaře from the birth of Benešovice, focusing on the origins of the family and the 15th and 16th centuries. The main attention is paid to individual persons and their thorough prosopography, thus research with respect to origin, career or family relationships. Furthermore, in combination with geographical, temporal and socio-political criteria. Attention is also paid to gender settlements and the issue of gender sign. The beginnings of the family date back to the period of the Benešov family, Benešovice, when the eldest son of Beneš, Vok (1215-1255) from Benešov, probably had eight sons, one of them was Ondřej, the founder of the family from Tvorkov. The thesis describes the genealogy of the family with an overview of the possession of property of selected members, which mainly represent its seats. For brief members of the family, their brief prosopography is given, and for important countries, their brief history is given, focusing on the time when the Tvorkov family owned this property.
