Francis Poulenc – Dialogues of Carmelite Focusing on the Main Character Blanche
Abstract:
Diplomová práce pojednává o hudebním skladateli Francisi Poulencovi a jeho opeře Dialogy karmelitek. Věnuji se v ní nejen životu autora v období komponování tohoto díla, ale zaměřuji se také na hlavní postavu opery, Blanche de la Force, z literárního, hudebního a interpretačního hlediska.
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with composer Francis Poulenc and his opera Dialogues of Carmelites. I devote not only to the author's life during the composition of this work, but also to the main character of the opera Blanche de la Force from a literary, musical and interpretative point of view.
