Analysis of light curve of RR Lyrae type star
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with a poorly studied RR Lyrae pulsating variable star XZ UMi. Photometric Measurements, which were got on Masaryk university observatory in Brno, were calibrated on the standard Johnson photometric system. Based on these data, actual pulsation period was estimated and Blazhko effect, unknown for this star so far, was detected. The Blazhko period of 41,3 days was determined …more

Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá štúdiom málo preskúmanej pulzujúcej premennej hviezdy typu RR Lyrae, XZ UMi. Analýzou fotometrických dát získaných na observatóriu Masarykovej univerzity v Brne, ktoré boli skalibrované na štandardný Johnsonov fotometrický systém, sa upresnila jej súčasná perióda a došlo k objavu Blažkovho javu, ktorý dosiaľ pri tejto hviezde nebol známy.
