The postpartum depression in the midwife's profession.

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci „Poporodní deprese v profesi porodní asistentky“ jsem se zabývala charakteristikou a klasifikací poporodní deprese, popisuji zde příznaky a rizikové faktory. Snažila jsem se více věnovat těm rizikovým faktorům, o kterých si myslím, že mohou ženě významně negativně ovlivnit její roli ženy – matky. Jsou jimi negativní životní události, stres a změny statusu. Následně jsem se zaměřila na léčbu poporodní deprese. Charakterizuji léčbu psychoterapeutickou, dále léčbu farmakologickou a její vliv na kojení. Svoji pozornost také soustřeďuji na alternativní léčbu, kterou může ženě poskytnout samotná porodní asistentka. Mé pozornosti neunikla ani prevence, která může ovlivnit nástup a sílu poporodní deprese. Pokládám za velice důležité, aby žena měla dostatek odpočinku, uměla relaxovat a za nejdůležitější považuju partnerskou podporu. Na konci práce jsem se zaměřila na šestinedělí, což je velice citlivé období, ve kterém žena prožívá nejen involuční, progresivní změny, ale také změny po stránce psychické. Na závěr své práce přikládám edukační materiál, který je určen pro širokou veřejnost, má informovat o poporodní depresi, o příznacích, o rizikových faktorech a léčbě.

Abstract:

In the thesis „The postpartum depression in the midwife's profession“ I have dealt with characteristics and classification of postpartum depression , I describe the symptoms and risk factors. I tried to pay more attention to those risk factors tha I think that woman can significantly affect the role of women – mothers. They are negative life events ,stress and changes of status. Then I focused on the treatment of postpartum depression. Describe psychotherapeutic treatment, as well as pharmacological treatment and its effect on breastfeeding. Also concentrating its attention on alternative treatments that a midwife canprovide to a woman. Then I focused on prevention, which may affect the onset and strength of postpartum depression . I think it's very important that the woman had enough rest, shecould relax and Iconsider the most important partner support. At the end I focused on confinement, which is a very sensitive period in which a woman experiences involution , progressive changes , but also physical changes. At the conclusion of the thesis I strach educational materiál that is intended for general public to inform about postpartum depression, the symptoms , risk factors and treatment
