Factors influencing the economy of sheep breeding focused on meat production in Bruntálsko

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zhodnocením ekonomické situace a faktorů ovlivňujících chov ovcí s masnou produkcí na Bruntálsku na vybrané farmě, která se chovu ovcí dlouhodobě věnuje. Práce se zaměřuje na popis přírodních a klimatických podmínek území a na základě těchto informací jsou navrhnuta vhodná plemena ovcí hodící se k chovu v popsané oblasti. Dále jsou představeny jednotlivé systémy chovu sledované farmy zahrnující výživu, ustájení a veterinární opatření. Následně je popsána produkce farmy včetně poptávky po ovčích produktech, a nakonec je zhodnocena nákladovost chovu ovcí. Závěrečná část práce se zaměřuje na dotační možnosti v chovu ovcí.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the economic situation and factors influencing sheep breeding with meat production in Bruntálsko on a selected farm which has long been engaged in sheep breeding. The work focuses on introducing the natural and climatic conditions of this territory, and on the basis of this information, appropriate sheep breeds suitable for breeding in this area are proposed. In addition, the individual breeding systems of the monitored farm, including nutrition, housing and veterinary measures, are presented. Subsequently, farm production is presented, including the demand for sheep products and in the end the cost of sheep farming is evaluated. The final part focuses on the subsidy possibilities in sheep breeding.
