Archival science of the new republic and activities of states archival

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce přibližuje význam, který mělo pro oblast nestátního archivnictví, v období po tzv. anketě českých archivářů, charakterizovaném kompetenčními spory ministerstev a s tím související legislativní neukotveností, založení státní archivní školy a státního archivního inspektorátu pro české země. Zvláštní zřetel je věnován činnosti státních archivních inspektorů Václava Vojtíška a Františka Hrubého, kterým v této roli současná historiografie dosud nevěnovala patřičné pozornosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes the importance of the founding of the State Archive School and the State Archive Inspectorate for the Czech lands, which were influenced by the field of non-state archiving in the period after the so-called survey of Czech archivists, characterised by competence disputes between ministries and related legislative instability. Special attention is paid to the activities of state archival inspectors Václav Vojtíšek and František Hrubý, to whom contemporary historiography has not yet paid in this their role the due attention.
