Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou rozpoznávání fake news v závislosti na poskytnutém čase. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda studenti maturitních ročníků dokáží snáze rozpoznat falešné zprávy v omezeném čase, nebo naopak mají-li dostatek času na prověření zpráv. Tento způsob experimentu byl vybrán z důvodu již provedeného podobného výzkumu v Nizozemsku a zvídavost provedení podobného experimentu i v České republice. K lehčímu pochopení problematiky a výsledků experimentu slouží východiska práce. Ta se skládají ze tří částí. První z nich se týká vymezení základního pojmu fake news a s ním souvisejících pojmů dezinformace a informace. Druhá část se zabývá způsoby rozpoznávání fake news, faktory jej ovlivňující a také možnými opatřeními, která by mohla této problematice pomoct. Třetí část východisek práce je zaměřena na mediální gramotnost a kritické myšlení, což je velmi důležité právě při identifikaci falešných zpráv. Experimentální část práce se zaměřuje na samotný experiment, který má míšenou výzkumnou strategii. Experimentální vzorek zastupují studenti maturitních ročníků z vybraného gymnázia.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of recognition of fake news in dependence on the time provided. This work aims to find out whether graduates can easily recognize fake news in limited time or if they have enough time to examine the news. This type of experiment was chosen because of similar research was already conducted in the Netherlands and the curiosity of conducting a similar experiment in the Czech Republic. The starting points of the work serve for easier understanding of the problems and results of the experiment. These consists of three parts. The first one concerns the definition of the basic concept of fake news and related concepts of disinformation and information. The second part deals with the way of fake news recognition, the factors influencing it and possible measure that can help this issue. The third part of the work focuses on media literacy and critical thinking, which is very important in recognition of this kind of news. The experimental part is focused on the experiment itself, which has a mixed research strategy. The experimental sample is represented by graduation students form selected grammar school.
