Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou bojového potenciálu polských Vojsk teritoriální obrany (WOT) v kontextu proměny bezpečnostního prostředí po vypuknutí války na Ukrajině. Cílem je zjistit, zda WOT tvoří jeden z hlavních pilířů bojového potenciálu polské armády, či mají spíše symbolickou roli. Pomocí DOTMLPFI analýzy práce identifikuje zásadní nerovnováhu mezi lidským faktorem a materiálním zajištěním. Závěry však potvrzují efektivitu WOT v oblasti krizového řízení a budování civilní odolnosti, navzdory jejich současné nedostatečné připravenosti na konvenční konflikt.

Abstract:

This thesis analyses the fighting power of the Polish Territorial Defence Forces following the outbreak of war in Ukraine. The aim is to determine whether the TDF constitutes one of the main pillars of the PAF‘s fighting power or whether its significance remains rather symbolic. Using DOTMLPFI analysis, the thesis identifies a fundamental imbalance between the human factor and material resources. However, the conclusions confirm the effectiveness of the TDF in the area of crisis management and building civil resilience, despite the current lack of preparedness for armed conflict.
