Preschool Children And Digital Technologies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou používání moderních digitálních technologií dětmi předškolního věku. V teoretické části je stručně uveden vývoj dítěte v předškolním věku, zejména oblasti myšlení, učení či socializace. Následují kapitoly o digitálních technologiích, jejich přínosech i rizicích pro děti a také možnosti rodičovské mediace. Empirická část popisuje kvalitativní výzkum, který přinesl informace o tom, jakým způsobem předškolní děti digitální technologie používají, jakým způsobem se k této otázce staví jejich rodiče a co očekávají v oblasti digitální gramotnosti od mateřské školy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with using of digital technologies by preschool children. In the theoretical part, there is shortly mentioned the child development of the preschool period, mainly the field of cognition, learning or socialization. The following chapters deals with digital technologies and their benefits and risks according to preschool children and with the possibilities of parents meditation as well. The empiric part describes my qualitative study, which brought information about the way of using digital technologies by the preschool children, about the attitude of their parents to digital technologies and what the parents are expecting of kindergartens in the field of digital literacy.
