International Humanitarian Law and its Dissemination in Conditions of Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku týkající se šíření mezinárodního humanitárního práva v podmínkách České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část objasňuje co je mezinárodní humanitární právo, základní pojmy, historický vývoj práva, základní právní předpisy a zásady, které se týkají této problematiky. Mimo jiné jsou v teoretické části popsány rozeznávací znaky, metody, opatření a také národní skupina pro implementaci mezinárodního humanitárního práva. Praktická část se zaměřuje na dotazníkové šetření, na základě kterého je kriticky posouzen současný stav diseminace mezinárodního humanitárního práva u obyvatel v České republice. Dále je vypracován návrh pro efektivnější šíření práva a výstup z konaného experimentu - přednáška o mezinárodním humanitárním právu.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on issues related to the dissemination of international humanitarian law in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part explains what international humanitarian law is, basic concepts, historical development of law, basic legal regulations and principles, which are related to this issue. Among other things, the theoretical part describes the distinguishing signs, methods, measures and also the national group for the implementation of international humanitarian law. The practical part focuses on the questionnaire survey, on whose base the current state of dissemination of international humanitarian law in the Czech population is critically assessed. Furthermore, there is a proposal for more effective dissemination of law and output from the experiment - lecture on international humanitarian law.
