Organization of the Subject Matter in the Firsth Book of the Cronica Aule regie

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá otázkou, do jaké míry Petr Žitavský používal rétorickou příručku Poetria nova Galfreda de Vino Salvo, jelikož znalost této příručky Petrem Žitavským již byla v minulosti vědeckým bádáním prokázána. Budu se zabývat tím, zda Petr Žitavský používal doporučení ohledně dispozice látky se zřetelem k vlastnímu počátku textu, jenž Galfred de Vino Salvo popisuje ve třetí pasáži svého díla. V mé práci shrnu základní informace o díle Poetria nova a hlavně se zaměřím na její třetí pasáž, kterou rozeberu, následně se budu věnovat rozboru 130 kapitol první knihy Zbraslavské kroniky. Mým úkolem bude zjistit, zda Petr Žitavský využíval při psaní těchto kapitol dispozici textu navrhovanou Galfred de Vino Salvo. Pokud k tomuto vlivu dochází, pokusím se kapitoly přehledně rozdělit do skupin podle toho, jakému typu dispozice látky příslušné kapitoly odpovídají a popsat, jaké její typy jsou v kapitolách první knihy Zbraslavské kroniky zastoupeny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the question to what extent Peter of Zittau was using the rhetorical guide Poetria nova by Geoffrey of Vinsauf as the knowledge of Peter of Zittau/his knowledge of this guidebook had already been scientifically proven. I will concern whether Peter of Zittau was using recommendations about the distribution of the topic in respect of the text´s own beginning which Geoffrey of Vinsauf described in a third part of his work. In this thesis I will summarize the basic information about Poetria nova. A special focus is put on the third part that will be analysed, and then I will analyse 130 chapters of the first book of Chronicle of Zbraslav. My task is to ascertain if Peter of Zittau utilized the disposition of the text proposed by Geoffrey of Vinsauf when writing those chapters. If such impact appears, I will attempt to divide the chapters clearly into groups according to which disposition they belong to and to outline which types of this disposition appear in an individual chapter of the first part of Chronicle of Zbraslav.
