Coding and encryption in teaching at the 2nd grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou kódování a šifrování na druhém stupni ZŠ. Teoretická část je zaměřena na podstatu kódování a šifrování a její význam pro informatiku a běžný život. Další součástí teoretické části je rozbor některých, již existujících, výukových materiálů. Praktická část se zaobírá tvorbou a popisem pracovních listů pro žáky druhého stupně ZŠ s následným ověřením v praxi. Na základě vyplněných pracovních listů a didaktického testu, který byl rovněž vytvořen v rámci praktické části této práce, je vyhodnocena jejich efektivita a přínos pro pochopení problematiky.

Abstract:

The Master thesis deals with the teaching of coding and encryption at the second stage of primary school. The theoretical part focuses on the essence of coding and encryption and its importance for computer science and everyday life. Another part of the theoretical part is an analysis of some existing teaching materials. The practical part deals with the creation and description of worksheets for second grade pupils of primary schools with subsequent verification in practice. On the basis of the completed worksheets and a didactic test, which was also created in the practical part of this work, their effectiveness and contribution to the understanding of the issue is evaluated.
