Chemotherapy - related neutropenia in patients with Hodgkins lymphoma
Abstract:
Hlavním cílem studie bylo porovnat akutní hematologickou toxicitu standardních chemoterapeutických režimů COPP/ABVD, ABVD s intenzifikovaným režimem BEACOPP v jeho bazální (baz) i eskalované (esk)variantě. Vedlejšími cíli bylo posouzení četnosti infekcí, efektu epoetinu alfa (EPO)na snížení počtu transfúzí a dodržení dávkové intenzity u režimu BEACOPP esk.
Abstract:
We compared chemotherapy regimens COPP/ABVD or ABVD vs BEACOPP baseline (bas) or BEACOPP escalated (esc) as initial chemotherapy for Hodgkins disease. The major end points were chemotherapy-related neutropenia, infection, effects of erythropoietin (EPO) on reductions in the number of transfusions, dose reductions of planned therapy BEACOPP esc.
