Shoe Catalogue

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Katalog obuvi je koncipována jako praktický umělecký výkon, kdy je grafickou technikou linorytu vytvořena série osmi párů obuvi, z nichž je uspořádán katalog, a doplněn textem doprovodného charakteru. Teoretická část práce se zabývá tematikou reklamy, katalogu, některými tvůrci plakátů a katalogů. Pokračuje stručným nástinem dějin obuvi a uvádí umělce, jejichž tvorba byla inspirací pro praktickou část. Následuje popis tvorby technikou linorytu a její využití v pedagogické praxi. V praktické části jsou uvedené okolnosti vzniku při výběru tématu a postup při jeho utváření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis Shoe Catalogue is designed as a practical artistic performance where a series of eight pairs of shoes are made by the linocut technique. A catalogue is organized and it is supplemented by a text of a concomitant characteristic. The theoreti-cal part deals with the subject of promotion, the catalogue and some of the poster and catalogue authors. It continues with a brief outline of the shoe history and introduces the artists whose works were used as the inspiration for the practical part of the thesis. This part is followed by a description of the linocut technique production and its use in the educational practice. The circumstances of the topic choice development and the process of its creation are mentioned in the practical part of the thesis.
